How is a Notification of Award different from a standard award letter issued by a purchasing department?
In short, they’re essentially the same document. Both serve the same purpose and perform the same functions.
In this series of posts, we’re sharing sample letters you can use during the Request for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP) award process. This particular letter is designed for situations where you need to formally notify a vendor that they’ve been selected and will be awarded the tender they recently bid on.
